Course Creators Weekly #4 π July 20th, 2020 - Building & Growing Your Audience
This week I've got a 70-minute video for you that's worth every second of it, and as before, I've tried to summarise it as much as I can. Enjoy the read, but if you can find the time, I highly recommend watching the entire video!
Enjoy!

What are you optimizing for in your life?
This is a personal essay from Barrett Brooks, and although it's not about online courses, I think it talks about something every entrepreneurβincluding course creatorsβshould be thinking about. Here's my take:
- Our life is made up of moments + our in-between habits and routines
- Our habits and routines are there to help us create those moments
- Define what "enough" means to you, or you'll be stuck in the in-betweens, chasing more
- Take the time to be present and really experience your moments
Louis Nichollsβ notes for creating his new course
- Start by defining who in your audience would benefit the most from your content
- Define your audience's aspiration / who do they want to be?
- Define what's stopping them from being/becoming that person?
- What worries/objections might they have about your course?
- Design your sales copy and course content to address the above
